MCGSA players attend several local High Schools. These High School softball teams have just finished a successful 2009 season.
Marist won the state AAAA championship for the second year in a row. Congratulations War Eagles! Dunwoody, North Springs, St Pius, Holy Innocents and Wesleyan all made the state playoffs this year.
Parents of younger players should know that the High School Softball programs are always in need of a few more players. Considering all of the different schools, we need 25 – 30 MCGSA players from each class to fill up their High School teams. I don’t know of any Murphey Candler softball player who has tried out and not made their High School softball team. The High School teams are something special to the girls, your daughter can be part of the team.
